Apparently @Budgewoi Eagle missed cheerleader practice due to a secret personal training session with the Wolfman. Due to this fact she's not invited to my birthday party as I am green with envy.😛

I didn’t think the cheerleaders cost the club, I thought they just needed a sponsor to pay for their costs/overheads. Remember when the Seabirds lost their major sponsors a couple of years back and we risked losing them. Not sure if the club went on to carry those costs or not

Yeah many sports accross the world have been removing cheerleaders. It's only a matter of time before the NRL followed. Covid probably jist accelerates it.
