I think Shoe stripped the ball.

Even Blocker said we got bad calls, the “no knock on” in the 2nd half when the Raider knocked the ball into our player was the worst I’ve seen in years.

An G string calls 6 again.

That’ll do me.

It was deemed a professional foul, hence penalty and sin bin. Correct call in my opinion

Whilst I agree the calls tonight were questionable,why would the NRL want Canberra to make the 8 ahead of say Titans or Tigers?

Maybe it’s more of a case of not wanting Manly in the Top 4?

Personally always been of the belief, don't use the ref as an excuse and credit to Manly, they clawed back to collect 2 valuable competition points.
But the obstruction, leg pull on DCE, lost play balls allowed to go,advantage rule, high shot on Marty and others, offside all night and so much more - though happy Manly got the Chockies, still pi++ed off by the officiating.
I get it, refs make mistakes and its human nature to make a few errors....but when it's all 1 way and so 1 sided it is bloody annoying.
Anyways - gutsy win to the boys.

That was written at half time and it was a fair assessment of the half.
If you bothered reading the game day thread I gave credit where due for a much improved second half . But the first half was complete and utter horse sh$t and it was pathetic to try blame the refs for it..
But hey, if your continually going to get butthurt on a FOOTY FORUM because someone called out a dead set dogsh$t half of footy then maybe it's you who needs to f$&K off you see dead set TW@T

there are 4 or 5 serial posters on here that tear strips out of the boys non stop and you are one of the most illogical best. I should have just ignored the original post and put it down to the ramblings of a fool but hey i Bit..... silly me. I will move on and SUPPORT a great side....

Along with the other dodgy calls I thought he let Canberra get away with alot of niggle and wrestle in the tackle.
I thought the chicken wing was banned ? saw at least 3 or 4 from them with no penalty.

Given the circumstances great win by the boys in a gritty but biased ref performance.

Yep, a whole bunch of chicken wing tackles were permitted to go unpunished last night.

You know we always bag the refs ( and often for good reason ) but I’d love to see an analysis of a game , done set by set , with replays and slow motion of an entire game by a completely non biased , relative “ expert “ on the game and see how the stats pan out.

So that’s , “ should have been a six again “ , “ should have been a penalty “ , “ that wasn’t a penalty “ , “ they’ve missed be there “ etc etc .

it would be really interesting!!!

No , retired refereee who has nothing to do with the game and is in no way aligned to either side.

It’s never going to happen but it would be interesting to see what stats came out of it compared to the game live.

I get that refs are human , they’ll make mistakes and we can’t be critical of that but there seems at times to be bias on play , wether that’s perceived or not would be be the outcome of this!!

But will never happen of course.
