I think they believe they are everyone's second favourite team. It stems from when we all mistakenly said that souths should be let back into the league and that they had been hard done by.

Pretty good try by Dufty in the roosters v st g game. V. good run.

The commentators were always going to mention Manly if St G got pinged for an escort. I think Anasta (or vossy) said as much. Their coach should have warned them to be ultra careful.

Finally a commentator admitted that when they say a 'flat pass' they mean forward. It was Vossy. He also called it a 'smother' term. lol.. (smother mother for those non woke amongst you).

Disgraceful that 'ref' Munro got to ref a big game. Pretty weak for the nrl to simply throw some touchie under the bus and say it was all their fault. Munro could have gone to the video ref last week. To give him storm v warriors was pathetic.

But you are right. Thurston's grasp of the English language leaves a lot to be desired, he's painful to listen too. And yet Ch.9 are paying him big dollars simply because of who he is.

Peta Hiku for mine has always been a better fullback than he is a winger or centre. The problem he's had though is that at every club he's been at, there have already been established fullbacks.....Snake at Manly, Moylan at Penrith, RTS at the Warriors.....so he gets shuffled around the backline wherever he happens to be needed, but rarely gets to settle on one position and never in his best spot.

Take his current situation at the Warriors. Personally I think that they would be better off with Hiku at fullback and RTS on the wing, I think the side would be a bit more balanced that way as it would take the reliance they have on RTS to come up with the big plays and make the others have to do something. But of course, RTS is it and a bit as a fullback according to most, especially the media, and there is no way that they'll be moving the current Dally M Fullback to the wing. However, if you go and have a read of the Warriors fan forum, you'll definitely find a good number who think that Hiku should be the fullback and RTS, despite his step and running game, should be on the wing. And a lot of reason for that is that they don't like Hiku as a centre and there are a few who don't think much of RTS as a defensive fullback.

Unfortunate news with confirmation Jake Friend suffered a distal (near elbow) biceps rupture last night, will likely require surgery & 3-4 months recovery.
