No more excuses in 2017

Our team showed a lot of ticker last week against some very dodgy refereeing and in the end we only lost by 8. I know losing big Marty and AFB is far from ideal but lets not forget our team is still gelling and we have heaps of room for improvement.

I view this as the most important game Nate Myles has ever played in the Maroon and White and expect him to play accordingly. The younger brigade have been carrying him long enough. Time to stand up Nate !

100% agree - this is a massive game for us. Down 0-2 after a couple of home games would be a disaster for our confidence and our season. If I was coach and Nate isn't one of our best players on Saturday giving his all he absolutely has to be flicked to reserves never to be seen again. Enuff is enuff. As others have alluded to before - despite all his off season 'honest' rhetoric there was still no fire in his belly last Sunday - not talk, no leadership...Just a repeat of 2016. Incredibly disappointing.

Is that the Nate " I was **** last year and still am" Myles you are talking about?

No chance , he's done, mind may be willing ( although doubt that ) but don't think his body is capable.

He's just sucking up his $700k a year and doing as little as he can.

You all knock Lewis Brown but at least he came on and had a go on Sunday!!!

yeah Mark he came on and tried but then gave away a really dumb penalty to take them out to more than a two converted try lead .... I was a Lewis supporter before he became a Sea Eagle but I'm afraid he and Myles have been a waste of valuable cap space

I believe he is on $550k but still way too much!

We simply MUST get into good form by May 2017 !!!!!
If not, my Golden day will be kinda an anticlimax. :sweating:

Cmon BAZ blend them, whip them into shape !
But does he know what shape that is ?

Well definitely no attacking 'shape' in one season and one game. Yet to hear a commentator say 'What a beautifully executed Manly try' in yrs 🙁
