All this sentiment about we must move on, and cop things on the chin when we hold convictions that they were incorrect is exactly what we as a club must not do.

Of course ever avenue should be explored to fight any charges. Glenn should never have been sent off. It's a common law right to challenge any law/rule. I'd hope that the club would never cop any crap from the NRL. I for one thought the club gave away far to much over the 09 launch. Go for it now. He will not get off.This is not the High Ct.To think a technicality will prevail is ridiculous given the publicity on this.He will be suspended for a lengthy stretch(too much IMO),this will further inflame the issue,keep the debate raging,distract our club from football as was shown today with the mish mash of unprofessional interviews and serve no purpose.

By all means plead not guilty on the facts(we must do so) but dont try some smart arse manouver that will probably inflame them to a higher penalty.

With some of the things raised in this thread. You can't plead guilty to a charge that has been referred straight to the judiciary as there is no penalty given. Blair has pleaded guilty to the striking charge. Likewise you can't go in attempting to have it downgraded because there has been charge to downgrade.

Whilst he was wrongly sinbinned it won't be enough to get him off scott free, but hopefully its enough to lessen his penalty. Fingers crossed for no more than 2 weeks.
