Bruins v penguins went to DOUBLE OVERTIME last night and almost....almost went to a third but in the last couple of minutes the bruins scored. Now lead the series 3-0 (booooooo)

This is shaping up as a 'no one to cheer for in the final' for me.

Kinda like melb v dogs in last years gf.

All this hockey and little desire to watch any of it.

hawks 3-2 10 seconds to go....

Icing against hawks, kings call a timeout and pull the goalie....

9 seconds...kings shoot....scores!!!!!!

Game off to overtime.

chicago v bawston final.

Dan you hate them as the only time people in LA knew they had a hockey team was when they won the stanley cup last year. Ultimate bandwagoners.

Plus they won by knocking out the canucks by consistently diving diving diving more than an Italian soccer team.

'Hawks win to take the big 3-2 lead in the series. Could be rough for the B's from here on, gotta win the last two games & there's the big issue of Bergeron being taken to hospital during the game. If he's out for the series that could be the nail in their coffin.

In other less exciting news the Nucks & the Rangers swap coaches & the Flyers pay out Briere's contract. Sad to see him go, he gave us a lot of quality play & was a big factor in getting Philly back up the top of the league again, but his play has dipped in the last few seasons & he just wasn't worth his salary anymore. Especially when you consider that he was in direct competition for spots with Couturier & Schenn. So long & thanks for all the fish Danny B!

Tomorrow the nucks are supposed to announce tortorella as the head coach.

What a diff style he'll bring! Hope the sedin's don't mind bad language.

finding myself going for the hawks here but it's terrible and like watching the storm v dogs gf!

The saddledome in calgary flooded with the recent downpours and today they came across the mud and water soaked mascot's head. lol

The worst thing about this series for me was that Kane won finals MVP. He was a coin toss away from being a Philadelphia Flyer, but Chicago lucked out yet again & we long suffering Flyers got James Van Reimsdyke instead.

Well, 72 days until NFL training camps so I'm just going to dream of a Hartnell - Giroux - Kane top line until then.

In even sadder news, the Flyers have amnestied Ilya Bryzgalov. I hope he goes somewhere that he can live in peace & continue his studies of the universe. Forever in our hearts 🙁
