True, look forward to seeing SJ at the olympics with their diving efforts.

The official who gave beiska a dubious call deep into the third period (to help even it up) was the same one who gave daniel the 2 mins into overtime, who was the same official who gave daniel a 10min game misconduct for abusive language, who was the same official who gave AV a bench minor during a calgary game. AV went on to say that this official may have a prob with the nucks.

Turns out the official does.

Now nrl fans (who never read this thread) this is some biased officiating!

Leafs blow a 4-1 lead in game 7 and go down to Boston.

Washington choke in game 7 and NYR go through to round 2.

Canucks sack their coach (AV) and two assistants.

Especially the one in charge of special teams who had the sedins play on point for our power plays.

Was a little shocked when I first heard this, but after thinking on it some more I think it was probably the right call.

Vigneault has had a great team for a few seasons now & completely failed to deliver come crunch-time. Perhaps a fresh approach could help pick the Nucks up. Makes sense to do it now before the core of the team begins to decline & the salary cap situation really starts to bite.

(I'm still following this thread by the way, It's just made me curl into a fetal position holding my Giroux jersey everytime I start thinking about hockey)

LA beat SJ 2-1 in game 7.

Difference in goals over the 7 games....1

The home team always won.

This'll be the first time in 3 years that the team who defeats the canucks will not go on to win the stanley cup.

Game 7 Detroit v Blackhawks tomorrow ladles and gentlespoons.

Will the 'hawks come back from a 3 game deficit to take it all or shall the ever resilient red wings stop stuffing around and knock out the regular seasons best team?

Wow, just watched it. What a tight game, 1-1 after regular time. Lucky for me that goal in OT was scored when it was cause I only had 2 minutes left of the Foxtel recording 😉

Nice one! My "foxtel" box seems to be set up to double the length of any sports recordings so every nrl game has 3 hours recorded time. I guess it's an automatic set up since in hockey, in the finals, overtime just goes in 20mins blocks until someone scores.

A few years ago a canucks game went to 4 overtimes!

Thats 60mins of regular game time then 80 min of overtime!!

I hope I didnt spoil the game for you 🙁 I didn't realise you got that game.

Watching Chicago Black Hawks V LA Kings now. How good is the goal tender Quick for the Kings!?!? He's been keeping them in the game under big attacking waves from the Hawks.

The best. He's the biggest reason they won the cup last year. Man is a playoff specialist.

Not that you'd want him on your team. Now Ilya Bryzgalov, there's a real thinking man's goaltender.
