@manlyfan76 I was thinking somewhat the same. Cust is a bit of a dark horse. When he’s on he can cause problems. Instead of Des shuffling players around it would be ideal to see players come into the side and do what they get paid for. Without the shuffling. I would hate to see Parker moved after all the effort he has put in. Garrick to fullback yea. Wonder how walker would go on the wing. Or maybe not?

I don’t think Cust is good enough or seasoned enough to come straight back into FG after a long lay off as starting no7. I’d even contemplate putting Croker to 6 or 7 and Lawton to 9 before starting Cust at 7 (assuming DCE is playing origin).

I reckon Jake was not picked for NSW because he is still injured. Freddy loves him so if fit he would have been straight back in. I highly doubt he will play this week

Des played Walker for most of the game to make him I fear match fit for Canberra. Played a lot at hooker . He was crap.
But Des loves him. Figure Des will play him at five eight and Foran at half next week.
If he does we will lose.
Des played his favourites in the first four games until he was forced to bring up the brilliant young guys that he never gave a chance,. They changed our game philosophy and enthusiasm.
Surely Shuster can play. Half Foran and Shuster five eight we will win.
Otherwise Cust half. Or Croker.
But please not Walker.

Schu rested till round 18. Walker will start 5/8. Raiders will be missing Wighton and Papalii. Should be a good game but with no crowd at Brookie will be close.

Raiders will probably improve without Wighton. If I were Ricky Stuart I'd be putting out missing person calls and "have you seen this man?" posters around Canberra.

I try to make it a habit to consider as few contingencies as possible. Complicated things make my brain hurt.
However I'm impressed you found out about my new Smart outfit, it's wi-fi connected so no matter where I am I can stream the games so long as I'm wearing pants 🙂
