New Coaching Team

Flanagan is a done deal.

If this is true, then The Yank continues to demonstrate he truly does like burning up Mum and Dad's treasure chest as they'll need to tip in a great deal more to cover up the losses that will arise when the sponsors start to walk.

I couldn't care less that Booze, N.E.C, Foxsports and all his other "supporters" keep pushing his " amazing C.V." and that he has "served his penance", he shouldn't be anywhere near a professional sporting organisation (don't get me started on the NRL clearing him to resume duties as an Assistant Coach).

As much as a basket case Essendon FC is right about now, they saw fit, in their evaluation of candidates for their head coaching role to park any notion of engaging James Hird as their coach.

We should adopt the same attitude and extend it to ANY capacity whatsoever with respect to Shane Flanagan.

Booze states that he is part of a "Manly Dream Team", what an absolute joke if that's the case.

Would gave to be dual roles for Jones. No way he'd leave as head coach at England to be assistant here.
Jones is leaving English Rugby straight after the World Cup, wants to go to Japan so frees up Japan's off season to be in Australia.

I have serious doubts Penn will fund to much of the asking price of all theses assistants

So ... as of the moment ... reports are we are chasing ..

Seibold .. Head Coach
Eddie Jones .. football manager/consultant
Flannagan ... Asst Coach
Laurie Daley ... Unicorn trainer
Frank Ponissi ... Football Manager
Michael Chieka ... lineout coach
Freddy Fiddler ... spiritual advisor
along with Hales and Monnas ...
Looks like we will be having more coaching staff than players in our books

Flanagan will bring his own syringes
Filled with calf blood

8.Is a massive worry.
Yes it is.
When you have super wealthy individuals owning the team, unfortunately fans opinions are like water off a ducks back to them. They could walk away tomorrow without selling and still be super wealthy. They enjoy the prestige of owning a team and use it as a leverage for their other business interests. They aren't necessarily making decisions to better the bottom line as one would expect from a business. If that were the case, they would never have churned through as many CEO's as they have. The instability has been a shocker and probably the main reason why Des felt he needed to micro manage everything. There was no leadership he could trust. Even the GM of Football appears to be a dud who admits to being in over his head in his email to Des.
How many more interview processes can the same people stuff up? Answer: As many as they like when they own the joint and aren't accountable to anyone other than maybe the sponsors and players. I have come to the realisation that they truly do not care one iota about what members/fans think of the decisions they make. They see it as the unwashed sticking their noses into their private business.

I suspect they don't care too much for the players either. Half the team will be back late from Europe after playing the World Cup tournament, and then straight off to the US for an early start to the 2023 comp because there are new markets over there.
As Tex Schram then boss of Dallas Cowboys once said to the NFL players union: "what you have to understand is we're the ranchers and you're the cattle, and we can always get more cattle"

Regardless of what the makeup is like it will be good to have a change.

We were stale.

We were living in the past.

We were a very ordinary football side.

Whatever happens is a least a move forward, that’s the way I look at it.

And we needed new DNA because we are becoming inbred ... just not sure about the Grandkids having raspy voices ...
