I get the feeling he is keeping Trexs bench spot warm
T-Rex isn't in the 30?
With Paseka and Waddell on the bench as middles I think the time is right for Olakau'atu to get a shot in Boyle's place
The big difference though is that Jamie added a lot of spark to the side when he did get on the field.Des has always seemingly loved to keep a foward fresh on the bench, with limited game time.
Seems like a consistent plan, from my memory anyway.
Jamie Bruher springs to mind.
Des to Tony: Listen old son, don’t tell anyone just yet, but I’m popping over to Canterbury next season. Care to join me?I think you are right . Des and T rex are inseparable buddies . They always end up together .

We call him the magic pudding.. lets hope one day he can prove us wrongMany players have proved me wrong and I do hope Boyle does as well but I see no fear factor in his big frame
Very predictable and pedestrian so far IMO .
I was actually encouraged by Paseka's straight running at the line this roundLets be honest. Would Boyle (or Paseka) be there is Sips hadn't been injured?
Thats why he needs a pre season under Donny. Get his fitness and strength to a better level. Its hard coming to a new team and new environment mid season after an injury and expected to be at your best. From all reports he didn't have a pre season. Yes he needd to be better but i think he deserves a bit more of a chance before we write him off... Remember everyone except a few writing parker off last year.Surely if you know you only have to play for 10 minutes you can be a "beast".
It's like a batsman who knows he only has a few overs to make his mark.
