Our Benchmark is The Greatest Club of All
And we have failed to live up to its High Standards​

We are living like Vultures... Living off our Legendary clubs past Glory .Instead of living in Glory as Victorious Sea Eagles​

Its Time to lift our standards and Soar Like real Conquering Sea eagles !!!​

Unfortunately we've been 2nd best a few more times. Lets see if we can flip this over the next decade.

Let "s hope that we can flip it over this decade , hopefully the stars will or are starting to align up for that . Good perspective on the 2 nd best outcomes but would just like to add with some basic direct and indirect knowledge in terms of Manly "s runner up status , must have been a great effort with that 51 side considering that they only joined the comp in 47 . 1957 and 59 , up against probably the most stacked side in R L history with
St George during that era . Must have been real unlucky in 68 , lost one of the best forwards in the comp for that G F and i st team to qualify . Just not good enough in 70 . Would have expected one winning result out of 82 and 83 , best team in the comp in the 95 season but poor on the G F day . 97 and 2007 need no explanation for the dodgy opposition circumstances . 2013 , more controversy . Anyway , still 2 nd best of course with the outcomes but some pretty unlucky sides in that list as well
