Here is a conspiracy theory. Don't announce the coach until after the October 22 Auto Members Renewal kicks in and trap a fair few members before any bad news.

Just a thought, I would hope its not that way...but who would know at the moment how they think.

I've already contacted the club, stopped auto renew, need to know who is coach before I recommit.

Will we be active in the market ?? I assume that since we have had all year to prepare for the worst case outcome on salary cap appeal then they should be ready to implement whatever Plan B was. I'm not hoping for names here just wondering what the plans are.

@The Wheel is on the mark, with all the interest around the coaching position very little was mentioned around player retention and recruitment unfortunately.

Was “it” a contract meaning we had actually signed our new coach over last weekend?

The sooner they announce the signing the better.

Especially after the crap channel 9 are dishing up about no one wanting to coach us.

The first time I put 2&2 together I got 5 so I guess that's why I'm still in Year 1.
Then I got out my calculator and got 4, which is the amount of Premierships the Manly Sea Eagles will win over the next 15 years.
