Game Day: Manly v Warriors [Round 13, 2020]

A minute from half time we kick on the 4th to give them a comfortable set of 6 prior to the siren. Wtf???

All in all what a pathetic game by our team. DISGRACE. That's 2 in a row. A clean out needs to happen. The regular team player were their usual cr^p selves, the young guys showed heart. After that game I would hope that the following players should find new careers;

1. Waddell
2. Taufua
3. Croker
4. Elliott

Effectively our normal backs - hopeless

Come on Des this season is now gone, save us from this madness! Let's have a look at our future. We have coronavirus to deal with and that's depressing enough. My wife can't afford my post match alcohol consumption after watching our games

Who was it that posted he could tell how the game was going to pan out for Manly in the first set? This time it was the very first play, when Cherry got bundled over the touchline from the kickoff. Then Perenara stepped in with the set restarts and penalties and, 20 minutes later we were 16 points down and had barely touched the ball. It's a long way back from there so I'm kind of glad we got so close and at least made a game of it. Not so glad we couldn't finish it off when we were gifted a chance.
Still don't know why we trip over ourselves inside the opposition 10 when all we should be doing is getting Suli, Paseka and Guacamole to hit the line at speed, dive forward and slide over the try line. Frustrating to watch, which made a typical Manly performance, I guess. Oh, and more key injuries. Great.

Season done, need to look to the future. Elliott is a reliable passenger. Funa and Guacamole should be in the side every week.

When you’re paying big bucks to someone in a position like Jake he really needs to contribute to make up for shortcomings elsewhere. While I know he gets through a lot of work, lately there is very little quality about it. No quick play the balls and very few offloads. In defence his low tackles give away too many fast play the balls and he is giving away an extraordinary amount of penalties - often dumb ones late in the set. He’s a great player but out of form. Im worried these new ruck rules might not suite his style of football.

Jake is a hog.....pure & simple. On at least 5 occasions tonight he killed our momentum when he should have passed the ball! He’s become boring & predictable.

Ola was great, funa good, Paseka and Garrick has their best games this year. Garrick looked angry and strong for a change.

Positives some of our young kids show a heap of promise and I can take a loss better with young kids learning on the job. Time to put a line through some and persist with the young guys. Nothing to lose now time for schuster and hopoate let them loose give us something to look forward to.

I’m done.....if Elliott, Taufua, Waddell are selected again I’ll give up on the season! Don’t know WTF Des is thinking lately but something needs to change ASAP or we’re done. I’m getting more & more despondent each week......

Elliot and wadell are bad, jetski too but with the injuries there no other option sadly

Let’s face it with the outs we had before the game AND during to get to 26-22 was a fair effort.

The game was lost in the first 15 minutes

I thought we were going to win it most of that second half. Warriors are crap. Just gave away the ball to often in the last 5 mins.

Quac was very strong, Funa started to look better so they are keepers. Let's bring in Hoppa. Elliot and Jorge have to go. Crocker and Waddell were poor again.

Tent was a beast. Playing really well now.

I get that Ned and was preying for an opportunity...which we got....that set with the game on the line from 20m out told me we didn't deserve the win....but your 100% right in relation to 6 off the chocolates

He's safe under a high ball, but as for being a defender and an attacking player ... Tom can't come back, hopefully fully fit, fast enough.

Definitely not suiting him. But he only gets pinged in the first 20 mins. Ref then puts away the whistle.

I wouldnt be so angry if Des tried to change players up and bring some young blokes in, but week after week pretty much same side, well guess what same result....what does he expect will change that, a spray at half time??? Well that hasnt worked so well.

I can't get over how many tries against us are from kicks. We must rank last at both defending and scoring from kicks in the comp.

2 things Ranga, we are soooo slow to get to kicks and also...they have to have both won field position and a lack of pressure on the main kicker

Agree with everything you said. Those 4 players are rubbish. Elliot is obviously slow in the head, guys got nothing sure he can catch the ball but he offers zero in anything else. We attack with 12 players with him at fb. Dont get me started on croker i actually hate him. Slowfua is not a 1st grader he is a joke. Waddell..... not his fault dce is rubbish! We have this beast kid Guacamole carving them up and dce is nowhere to be seen.. those last sets he completely ignored suli and Guacamole so **** him. He started the ****ness when he got taken out 1st play of the game and then it ended with him having no clue and kicking for himself like a spastic! Fmd they were bad Des should whip the ****s and drop dce
