this in my mind will be a battle of the minds and will either go one of 2 ways.

if either team gets ahead by a decent margin i can see the other team going through the headspace of " oh here we go not again".

the unknown is how our new look side plays.

i can see whoever gets on top winning by 13+ yes even in the rain.

i fear last weeks game against the Panthers could have damaged us more than we think but the warriors have had a bad week too.

going out on a limb us by 14 but with no confidence at all.

In a shortened competition, there comes a time when you need to beat this type of opposition.
I really think this game even several weeks away from finals and sitting in 9th, will tell us if we are serious a out a top 8 finish.
I think DCE will really be on and there could be some added enthusiasm which will be an added bonus.
The Warriors will throw everything into that opening 15m attempting the Ambush and if Manly are up to, will control proceedings the back end of the contest.

rain forecast and heavy rainfall right on kick off.

this is it

its time for some players to show what this club means to them.

i watched live last week that ridiculous effort , was nothing short of embarrassing.

tonight against my better judgement i am again being given the opportunity to watch us live.. show effort and hunger tonight gents because us members and fans deserve better.

If we throw up the same performance as last week we might as well not turn up for the rest of the season

Time to show the true manly warringah sea eagles tonight i have loved over the years.

Perfect summation I’d say!!

It's 2am on Game day!

woot!

A couple of teams with a lot of disruptions. It'll be interesting to see the final 17 for today.

Hoping for a good game and seeing if the weeks talk will transfer into actions on the field.

Enough frigging around!
I have this sinking feeling that the backline is going to be changed. Reubs to fullback, Elliot to centre and Funa to the wing.

I hope not. I actually hope the backline lines up as named. I'd like to see what Funa can do in the centres. Other coaches have put young players in the centres with success this year (e.g. Bradman Best). Lets hope Des gives Funa that chance tonight.

Paseka and Boyle have played at 13 at Black Town so should be able to slot into the back row if Olakau or Waddell needs a rest [ or certainly hope not ] if either has to fill in in the centres . Wet conditions and Manly doing particularly well does not tend to be that conductive but any way for them to find a way to win will obviously do . Pleased that Olakau finally gets a start, , should not lack any enthusiasm and hope that it is a good night for him . Can "t imagine Elliott not being the full back tonight .

No 22 according to the initial team list but probably meaningless when the 21 limit is the cut off point They will need an 18 th man named [ or has it already been confirmed ]
