A couple of things that will be interesting about Friday night.

1) Who will be picking the Team ??

2) If Elgey plays and has a blinder and the Titans win it will be bitter sweet for most of us fans !

Has the NRL got 12-year-olds doing the research now?

Just to add to my last post.....

This will be the first time we have played the Titans at Brookvale since 21 July 2013 (Round 19).

Manly 38 def. Titans 20

Manly Tries: Jamie Buhrer, Justin Horo, Jamie Lyon, Steve Matai, Nick Skinner, Brett Stewart, Jorge Taufua, David Williams.
Manly Goals: Jamie Lyon (3/8)

Titans tries: Kevin Gordon (2), David Mead, Aiden Sezer
Titans goals: Aiden Sezer (2/4)

Attendance: 11,905
Referees: Ben Cummins, Chris James.

Our coach that year was Tooves. The Titans coach?......John Cartwright.

The only surviving players still playing for either team are Jorge Taufua and Daly Cherry-Evans who will line up on Friday night in the same positions they did that day.

Man...that brings back memories!

Nick Skinner...what a champion he was. One of my all time Manly greats! :tonguewink:

Nick Skinner, a 6'3", 103 kg front row forward signed from Canberra, played 6 NRL games, all for Manly and all off the bench in 2012 (4) and 2013 (2).

We were 3-3 with him in the team. That game against the Titans was his last ever NRL game and the only one in which he scored a try.

He made his debut in a 17-6 loss to St Merge at Kogarah in Round 4, 2012.

How did we not play them in 2015?

I’ve attended most Robina games apart from the last two years, and yes including the infamous “ checcined” game where we led by a point and he penalised Orford for a try saver on Preston Campbellright in front of our posts.

Bingo , lost by one!!

To give him his due Preston came out a couple of days later and admitted we were robbed and that he held Orford down to gain a penalty.

Bloody Cecchin! There's something about that guy I just can't put my finger in.

I meant on.

Surely Sipley or Paseka offers more than Perrett??

Every game from here is the MIGOTY, win all three and we could finish as high as 10th.

Even two wins and results going our way could see this happen.

And a much better launching pad for 2019.

And the secret , despite what others keep saying is keeping the same 17 or as close as possible week in week out!!

I agree and I don't even know what MIGOTY means

How the hell does hodko get picked? Last week he was -12 on super coach, so effectively he did more to benefit the other team than us. I can't think of a stronger reason to drop him to blacktown and bring in Tom wright.

I'm guessing Barrett does want to get sacked after this section.
