They just all worked together as one cohesive unit. The forwards were dominant, the halves creative, the backs fast and the energy was infectious. It was beautiful to watch. Let's pray that it can continue. Just never expected to see that sort of perfornance at all this yesr after Rd4.

The test on our defence is how it performs in an up tempo game when things are not going our way, we fatigue way too easily and lose defensive composure with any uptempo moments and can easily get stretched.

Keppie is getting his spacing wrong defensively and tends to switch off on the inside too often leaving too big of a gap.
Agree with the assertion that it’ll be a different story when the opposition get a few things to go their way. In saying that, a lot of what happened today was because we never let the Titans in it. We defended with energy and stopped their quick play-the-balls which took Fifita and Brimson out of the game.

Agreed. Last week Warriors were bad all by themselves and we were lucky enough to capitalise. This week we gave the Titans nothing and frustrated them into taking silly risks and making silly errors. Big difference.

I always said Des was a smart cookie. But as I always say - it isn’t youth for youth’s sake - it’s the right youth.
And we mustn't forget that had it not been for injuries we would still be watching the same duds that helped us to our worst win loss record ever, I doubt Hasler would have rung in the changes had those injuries not occurred, I'm keen to see if he's going to revert back to his favourites once they're over their injuries or if he'll show faith in the boys that have turned it around

Yes it will be interesting. I think Des will stick with a winning team though. Only injuries will get Siro and Suli back in.

As much as I prefer having the likes of Harper Guacamole and Schuster in the team, Jetski Siro Walker and Suli all would've looked a lot better in a team effort like today.

We may not of had that effort with them in. Suli and JetSki aren’t up to it, and Siro isn’t creative like Schuster. We don’t win 36-0 with those players all in.

I wish I shared your confidence. I think Des will rissole Guaca for Sirro without any hesitation once he is fit to play. Harper will only get a few games. He'll probably do the same with Sipley as well. Its so frustrating and incomprehensible.

You hate to wish injuries on anyone, but they have allowed us to have close to our best team on the field, and got me at least excited about footy again.

The Referee certainly was on a mission to give the Titans a leg up by giving a hell of a lot of Set Restarts and especially in that second half.

Not questioning your figures at all, but sheeeeesh it felt like they got more than five in that second half...
I know that you have said that you are not questioning my figures but if you think that they seemed low, FOX Sports Game Stats only has a game total of Manly 3, Titans 6.
First Half: Manly 0, Titans 2.
Second Half: Manly 3, Titans 4.

As I watch the game on FOXTEL, I pause the game throughout the entire duration and replay to get the tackle count and the approximate time left on the clock that they occurred. There were times throughout the game where I was 10 minutes behind because I was replaying incidences and caught up by watching at 2x speed which is still slow enough to catch the 'Set Restart' Banner come up on the screen.
:)

Same was said of Croker Parker Garrick Saab and Foz and you saw the difference in them today.
There is a tipping point. You can only carry so many average players at once. I still don’t rate Garrick. His goal kicking was excellent and he was good fielding kicks, but he bombed two tries that an NRL winger should have scored.

hmm I really don’t think any of them would have. I think Harper has earned his spot, Gauc was powerful off the bench and hard to contain, Schuster is a solid defender and has some great runs in him as well as some good passing exchanges.

Jetski, Siro and (maybe) Walker seem past it with us and all lack power, speed and versatility now (to put it simply). Suli is too lazy and needs to earn his spot back. I’d even consider Parker over him just to send a message that he needs to want it

Just looking at the Hit up Parker did in the 3rd minute.

The titans #10 didn't miss him with a "dead set" shoulder charge.

So... speaking of charges, wondering when we find out if he's been reported.

There was a penalty blown but blocker said it was for in the 10 mtrs.

Get to work "lesser Robbo" -ha
