Because the two that were chosen, Brendan O'hagan and Sean Osullivan are better and they played in teams that performed.

The manly coaching debacle and poor season played its part in Cade Custs non selection. However he has an ordinary kicking game and by his standards of last year had a poor SG Ball season. He was lucky to make the final squad. Definitely won't be playing NSW 20's this year.

Out of the six manly boys in the NSW pathways squad only Luke Poselli was deserving of a spot on performances.
Polselli broke his foot or ankle, he was in one of those leg things at school

we are no chance iof a win with these monkeys in the line up
1. lewis (arm lover)
2. leary (park footy specialists)
3. Will I am (a curse)

My 6yr old and I will be making the trip down from Brizzie. I've never been to the stadium and little man wants to sit in the supporters bay. Are those seats alright? Stadium is small so I assume they should b alright. Not sure why after last week but I have a gut feeling we are going to win this one. Told little man Taupau was in he gives out this "yes, Kapow baby!", while punching the air. Classic. Cmon boys fire up for monday!
It's crap now they've closed off the whole southern stand (wankers!). They cram the away supporters in the south-east corner (it's garbage). The only good thing is your with other Manly fans. But that wasn't enough for us last year, spied two seats right behind the northern end gold posts and made the move at half time. Paid off, we had plenty of tries scored five metres in front of us.
The thing is, as good as that was, and the daughter and I were carrying on like lunatics you do sorta miss being with all the other Manly supporters when we score, and especially if you've got a six year old, you're wanting a festive atmosphere with no swearing (don't sit near me!).
So that's my War and Peace answer ......stay with the Manly faithful!

i don't think this year I will be celebrating my birthday with a win , last year we smashed the tigers on my birthday this year i give us not much of a chance of beating the Titans sadly.

Wombat my boy watches every game with me he has certainly heard some quite passionate expressive language in 2016. I'll take a chance on the supporters bay as its dirt cheap for us.

My advice is to buy the cheap seats then move to wherever you like once it starts, there will only be a crowd of 5-7 K and they don't care where you sit on quiet days.

FRESH after their fifth straight loss, Manly players have had a truth session as they search for ways to save their ailing NRL season.

Of foremost concern for Sea Eagles players is their knack for switching off at times during matches.

They led Penrith by 20 points on Sunday before losing by seven, and the back end of the match also marked the fifth time this season they have conceded three tries in a 10-minute period.

“We had a lockdown (on Monday) and the boys said some tough things to each other,” interchange prop Siosaia Vave said.

“A bit of tough love was sent around the group.

“The boys are saying we have 20-minute lapses in our games ... it’s kind of hard but we’ve got to find a way to fix it.”

The five consecutive losses has seen pressure mount at the club, with chairman Scott Penn giving coach Trent Barrett his short-term support this week.

And players are aware their positions could be under scrutiny.

“I think you’d be lying if everyone here didn’t say they were feeling the pressure a bit,” forward Darcy Lussick said.

”We’re in a results-driven business and if we don’t perform they will get someone in who can. It has to start pretty soon — hopefully this weekend.” Manly go into Monday night’s clash with Gold Coast without halfback Daly Cherry-Evans and prop Nate Myles, while veteran centre Steve Matai is also out for the season.

They have also dealt with injuries to Jamie Lyon, while one-time NSW Origin representative Jamie Buhrer is another player to have spent time on the sidelines.

But Buhrer said the team would not use such absences as an excuse for their 4-9 record.

“There’s plenty of ready-made excuses if we were to go to the well but we’re not willing to do that,” he said.

“We believe we built a pretty deep squad this year of players. In the last games that we’ve gone into minus those players we’ve still been more than capable of winning, and we haven’t.

A "truth session", eh? I think I must have heard this a dozen times already this season from teams that are failing.
Is there a chapel at their Narrabeen Training facility because there's a whole lot of truth to be told and God is pretty busy over at Doesn'tmatta. Perhaps our former great fullback, AKA God, could step in and hear the confessions, although his would be the longest of all.

Hey guys. Going to the game. A friend has tickets, but the only info on them is gate B aisle 9 row 8. Anyone know what section this is? Need to buy 2 more aa close as possible

Wonder if anyone told Cartwright the 'truth' about him seemingly enjoying points scored against them?

The tickets will have a section/aisle number. Looks like you are on the Western stand, south corner,.

Any ticket with that category of price will get you in. There won't be a huge crowd so you can sit in the higher rows to get a better view :)

Can't believe Lewis and Leary are still in the 17. Both offer zero. If Knight can't get a start with half the team out , he'll never get a look in.
**** the plodders give the future a run.

Salary cap.

If the salary cap is not an issue then yes he should absolutely get a start on the bench.
