Can't mess with that left edge, Frank may not be taking many hit ups, but he does run dangerous lines, and it opens up Kelly on the outside. His defence has been good, great reads on the edge, which is something we've lacked in recent years.

One of Brown/Hastings should be dropped for Lussick, don't really mind which one, Brown is OK replacing Api for 15/20. Haven't seen enough of Hastings in the utility/9 spot to comment, he is better coverage for the halves, did OK at fullback for 15 minutes against Cowboys when Turbo was off in the head bin.

I would rather Hastings by a stretch. Offers way more than Brown and very dangerous player to have on our books. Will see him shine with more game time. Covering fullback, 5/8, halfback and hooker he offers massive value and lose nothing when he comes on.

My work mate is quite well connected at the chooks ( he is so annoying and one eyed i actually dread the footy season in relation to him) and he refused to give me any points start today! This was the best feeling to hear the tremble in his voice and for him as a big bet maker to want till wait till wed to place a bet.

For everyone (including myself) calling for Brown to be dropped, I think we can forget it. Remember that before the season, as a senior player Brown was made part of the squad's leadership group so I can't see TB dropping him any time soon.

When Darcy does come back I would not be surprised to see Hastings the one who ends up back at Blacktown with Brown retaining the utility hooker role.

And I wouldn't mind seeing TB continue to use Marty Taupau as a prop rather than a back rower. 20-30 minute periods would suit his power game more than 80 minutes as an edge running back rower.

Last season Trent nominated Buhrer as a potential captain. If Lussick returns, it is more than feasible that Brown drops out. Barrett played a LOT of football, he must be aware of the advantages of playing a talented footballer like Hastings against the club that punted him. And Lussick is far too good for Blacktown. If this happens, I dare say that this weeks team will be the best outfit we've run out in over 2 seasons. Exciting times ahead.

However he's been named for blacktown playing in NZ so I have my doubts. *Edit* Oh hang on that's on Sunday no worries.
