He's having a great game but can't agree with 5 mins to go, defence falling away the last 2 sets of 6 and holding a 6point lead

Well this games going quickly at least compared to that stop athon last week. It's only 20:41 and half time is halfway through. There would still be twelve minutes to go in the first half last week.

Hopefully this helps something or someone in the Manly team. But I have to admit I like the game a lot more without all the stoppages and the six agains but the refs can't bank on tries being scored and the bunker to make decisions for them. Ducking armature hour.

Unfortunately they couldn't intervene. Once Saab made a tackle on Smith, that tied the bunker's hands under the rules. They are not allowed to go back to previous tackles on scoring plays.

That stuff up was all on Sutton and his touch judge not calling the Martin knock-on. Then the stupidity of the rules compounded the problem.

Funnily enough ... the bunker CAN go back to previous tackles on non-scoring plays as we've seen happen against us a few times.
