Game Day: Manly v Knights [Round01,2018]

Interestingly our extended bench have all been named in reverse grade, except Brad Parker. Could be a late inclusion?

Sea Eagles: 1 Tom Trbojevic, 2 Jorge Taufua, 3 Matthew Wright, 4 Brian Kelly, 5 Akuila Uate, 6 Lachlan Croker, 7 Daly Cherry-Evans (c), 8 Addin Fonua-Blake, 9 Apisai Koroisau, 10 Martin Taupau, 11 Joel Thompson, 12 Curtis Sironen, 13 Jake Trbojevic

Interchange: 14 Lewis Brown, 15 Shaun Lane, 16 Frank Winterstein, 17 Kelepi Tanginoa

Reserves: 18 Bradley Parker, 19 Jackson Hastings, 20 Jack Gosiewski, 21 Lloyd Perrett
The reserves look better than our interchange lol. Pressure is on the coaching staff from the get go .

The backrower was a given before the team was named prior to games in 2017....
No doubt Thompson was always going to slot into a starting position and a fit Sirro always had the preference also....that's 2 if you take into account the timeout Sirro had through injury.
What I really like is the Improved, more aggressive Lane, Big Tanginoa stepping up after a Massive off season, Goweiski the Rangy backrower is also on par or ahead in the pecking order....times are changing and its all good.

I guess regardless that’s our 17 and we have to support them, remember we haven’t been at training and are basing our thoughts mostly on last years performance and a few minutes in a trial.

Who knows , those chosen might be the best options and obviously are in the coaching staffs view.
