Keppie offers a lot of flexibility with the forward rotation and can push Shoe into the halves if required. Probably our second best defender behind Jake.

Looks like Lawton thankfully hasn't got anything serious. So we've come out of this much-needed win unscathed. Chez Tom and Jake and if reports are right Aloiai as well, next week's team could be the strongest side we've named in years. No jokes. Like two years. I mean think about it:

I wouldn't argue Walker for Sipley. I just rather size on our bench, comes in handy against the top teams like Melbourne and Penrith. And Lawton can cover multiple positions and pretty well too. So he's the perfect utility, our very own Cheese if u ask me. But yes, very excited for team list Tuesday!!!

One thing that annoyed me about Des this game. We come out firing second half, riding momentum well. Cust a big factor to that, we looked way more direct and organized in attack. We go from 12 points to 30 in about 15-20 minutes coz of his potency in attack. And then he just gets taken off for no reason. That's when our attack just went back to being clunky and lost and we nearly bottled the game in the end. I've always felt like Cust deserves better. Last week he should've been 7. After we got pumped by the roosters in our first game and Cust had a blinder in the Blacktown, he should've taken the number 9 role. But he didn't, he was given a 14 spot where he barely even played minutes, and even when he got limited minutes he just made the team look better. Obviously now Crocker has improved amazingly and looks good enough to be our hooker for the finals. But there are just too many instances where Cust has been treated unfairly. A lot of players have got this Des treatment obviously but I feel bad for Cust. A very talented young player with so much potential just having a roadblock in his growth right now. I don't think he fits in our best 17 right now, and unfortunately for him, he's down in the pecking order for our hooker choices. And unless he's willing to wait another 3 or 4 years he's not getting a halves spot from DCE Foran or Schuster. So I hope for the best of his growth and talent, another team takes him and gives him good opportunities. I'm sure he will prove himself. A team like Dogs, Raiders, Sharks, Cowboys who are in need of a halfback could definitely do well with him there. I wish him the best.

Worth watching again that's for sure. Will have another look tomorrow. Round 21 and 22 here we come. Yes I realise we need to get through the Tigers and the Sharks but with a full strength team we should pick up both those games. Go Manly.

Kelpie is our 2nd best defensive forward, has mongrel and goes hard all game. If we ever field a full-strength side he has to be there. For me...Aoli and Tent start and the bench is Lawton(Shoo if Lawton is out), Marty, Sippers and Kelpie. I'd be starting Kelpie and having Shoo off the bench in the big games.

Davey I'm happy to see come back because in the little time he had to show his wares he was quite impressive but Sirro has had his day, I'm over him starving his outside men and killing our attack with his cutting back inside

I think he means shoe but I have a feeling we might be surprised with an earlier than round 22 return for aloiai as I saw he is already in the bubble in the sheds with the boys. Also interesting to see Siro there too. If he was not expected to be back in the next 3-4 weeks why would we waste one of our 41 staff and player spots on him.

Sirro is one we don't need back but Aloiai would be most welcome

Keppie is an interesting one, big fan of him but he may be due a spell. Spudd has been working with him which really shone through in that Eels game when he went after Nathan Brown all game

He gets a bit sloppy all round on extended minutes which is my concern, and with these rule interpretations I feel he can be a ticking time bomb too

I'm still not sold on Kelpie. Has good and bad moments which have cost us badly recently. Aloiai will come back in. I'd hate to see Sipley dropped but he did look a tad beaten up last night and might need a spell when Jake and Josh are back. I just want to see us at full strength or near to it for once. I don't think we have been in the last frigging decade.

I am sorry that both this post and Post #1 are so late this week. I usually copy all of the info from Post #1 of this thread for this post but whilst trying to compile all of the info to fill my Post #1 template, my browser kept crashing before I could save it and so, I kept losing everything that goes into the post. After the third attempt at getting it done and the browser crashed again I said stuff it, I'm going to bed and I will try again in the morning. This morning has come and after another two more failed attempts, I finally saved it before it crashed again for the third time and that was only because I had to complete it in dribs and drabs and save each completed bit as I went.
