St Merge were in the top 8 before tonight by default really. Its only because of other teams tripping themselves over so much that they have managed to win 8 games. They have no attack to speak of and their defence isn't much better (on F/A they are 15th)

They have been lucky to play games against the Cowboys and Storm during Origin. Both games they almost lost as well.

Three things have happened, forwards playing better, Lyon at 6 and Tom at FB. Which of these has been a bigger influence I can't tell, but they all are the difference between us winning and losing.

Mate all 3 has to happen every week.

Great win well overdue but geez Saints are just sht. Turbo at fullback was huge for us provided the thrust we've been missing all year. Uninjured that kid is going to be a superstar and when Jake Turbo matures he will be awesome. We just need a consistent team out there to be competitive but we have 6 props injured at moment. Lawrence, Vave, Myles, Knight , Lussick and Burgess. Hopefully with a fortnight break we can get a couple of them fit.
