Interesting how today’s result is looked at overall.If it was last year or any other year that would be classed as successful,we’d be saying “ok,a wins a win and we move onto next week in hope we don’t see that defensive performance again and we were lucky Holmes missed that kick”

Can I also say how impressive Manase Fainu has been stepping up to NRL level. I was away when he debuted and only read about the allegations/charges against him on the forum when that all went down, but judging him solely as a footballer, he's a serious, serious talent.

I just read this thread from I think pg3 when the game started, and a high % of posts is just negative comments on our players throughout the game. Then Manly get a try and I see a few posts like “yesssssssssss!”
Then it is back to the same old bagging of players.
Then full time came and all the posts were positive all of a sudden.

Agree he has been pretty average, but he is still pretty raw. By no means the finished product. His defence has been nowhere near his Origin benchmark. He will get better.
Surely you wouldn’t swap him out altogether?
