Did anyone notice on the wwos.nine.com.au the NRL press conference for Cronulla it states”Cronulla Sharks coach Shane Flanagan and Paul Gallen discuss their round 21 WIN against the Manly Sea Eagles at home!” prewritten or what!

A relief to get a rare win
Getting a win these days is as rare as Sea eagles teeth
As I mentioned earlier in my post the only way that I could see a win here was based on the good record we had against the Sharks
We have had the wood on the Sharks since 2012 and have won our last 8 games against them .
We managed win the game by one point thanks to a great DCE pressure field goal
I am happy that we are one win away from the spoon .

I love this .....

I also though Fainu was pretty good too. (I guess I could say that about a few) but he's stepped up quite well.

Hodkinson earning his $$$ on the bench again.

Do other teams only use 3 from 4 on the bench or is Manly in the minority?

Yes they do .... with the number of stoppages and every try going to a 5min review ...... Fainu had plenty of breaks ..... there was no need to replace him with Hodko's suspect defence in the middle in a tight game ... good coaching ....

Barrett was also probably conscious of the co inciding of the momentumn sfift when Fainu was off the field against the Panthers the previous week , Kept A P I on last season for the full game regularly also . will be interesting next season with both Fainu and A P I available and a probable interchange aggrangement but i guess that Fainu would presently seem the longer term 9 option as preferred choice .
