Did anyone notice on the wwos.nine.com.au the NRL press conference for Cronulla it states”Cronulla Sharks coach Shane Flanagan and Paul Gallen discuss their round 21 WIN against the Manly Sea Eagles at home!” prewritten or what!

I just read this thread from I think pg3 when the game started, and a high % of posts is just negative comments on our players throughout the game. Then Manly get a try and I see a few posts like “yesssssssssss!”
Then it is back to the same old bagging of players.
Then full time came and all the posts were positive all of a sudden.

Some of you are strange cats! Seriously.....

I don’t read these threads during games because of that haha. I have enough of my own demons during games haha

So I've just put the game on and two things stand out early.
One is AFBs aggression.
And two is Turbo's haircut.
Looks like he's had it cut by the local council.

Was at a bbq and forgot about the game completely. Remembered for the last 15 mins or so. Looked good in that period after the sharks had a few sets on our line. Surely avoiding the spoon is enough motivation.

Just finished watching the game.
They were determined to win that.
They have got to be as determined next week.
The boys can beat anyone.
They need to have that belief in themselves.

They just don't turn up to play to their ability for 80 minutes very often. That is the problem.
I don't know why they don't, but they shouldn't NEED the coach to get them up for it. His pep should be just cream on their desire to win. But you can't pep guys that don't have the desire and respect to perform for their own integrity, the guernsey, the club and especially not the one pepping.

Mates are not good coaches, you like to hang with them but it's too easy to be complacent.

These guys on big, easy money NEED to be accountable to someone they fear and respect or they will take the soft option.
The roster is very workable but soft promotes soft, NRL requires hard.

I couldn’t watch the game, I’m in Nebraska visiting the wife’s mob.
Game started at 11pm here,
I could only get score updates.
At 80th minute League sites only gave me full time score. WTF!
Finally in the Silvertails I saw a ‘Wooo-hooo...’ in the comments.
Victory.

I agree. Not only that, a few pages ago I posted a pic of the nrl.com headline saying the sharks survive a scare to beat Manly. It's still up!
