We need to clean house. Start with the Turbos honestly. Ditch the entire forward pack bar Ola and Bullemore.

Get in the market for a gun half, an origin level prop and a Crichton type back rower. Probably a 9 too.

Quite glad when that game ended. My lady hit the nail on the head when she said Manly were woeful and she felt rather offended by it. We honestly played like we had no idea, hopefully we can jag a win or two in the run to Mad Monday.

Well that was rough. Shoutout to all of the fans that went and sat through the rain, team certainly didn’t make it worth it for us.

Was the completion rate like 5% or something in the second half? A lot of side to side play in these conditions was weird, especially when it wasn’t working the vast majority of times. A lot of the errors funnily enough didn’t really come from the side to side plays though.

Probably the most I’ve just wanted to leave a game early, never will do that, but was seriously nothing to be excited about. As is the case with a lot of our games this year. Haven’t been able to be excited about this team at all post Round 2 outside of that Melbourne game, which was then lost the week after. We’re just quite boring to watch as well, different to recent years where we’ve been quite a fun team.

Anyway, that’s likely our season done. 5 more exhibition games left of yet another wasted season folks, let’s try to enjoy them. I’m looking at 2026 more than what we’ve got left of this year though, not that it’ll be much different either 🤷‍♂️

Reality is with Walker, Watson, Radley all back they just have way more top level talent than us. Easily a top 4 roster on paper.

DCE didn't even double check with Lodge, didn't even walk over to him and ask him is he sure and you shouldn't even be listening to Lodge in the first place!!!

Typical DCE. A real captain would have put the teams best interests first, and considered that maybe an obvious loose carry from a meat head prop was not the best challenge to make early in a crucial game. But I suspect he doesn’t care - if it’s wrong, he can just blame lodge. No skin off his nose. No captain in a top team would have challenged that.

I think that was the worst game I have seen DCE play - his continual turning the ball in to players like Waddell was so negative and got Manly zero results. Walker completely outplayed DCE, so why do Easts want him??

Well done on attending and those p who did the boys had sadly no heart and will limper towards the last few remaining matches, when your captain jumps ship why would any of our other players really put in.

There was no heart no desire out there tonight from our players and I can’t see this getting ugly very fast.

Raiders Friday night in ACT after they got beat is a scary prospect they will put 40 on us if the last 2 weeks is anything to go by.

Tigers away, dolphins home dragons away and warriors at home can’t see us winning many more matches a very long 5 weeks coming up.
