I get the feeling he was thinking of the glory play there. He was probably thinking to attack the ball and shred straight back through the staggered advancing defensive line. When the ball didn't bounce up for him he was caught in 2 minds and tried to collect it with his foot but still carrying the forward momentum mind set... Oh well, good learning experience for the young man.

A brand of boring unimaginative football.
They are no chance of winning the premiership.
I just looked at who they have beaten this year, 80% of their wins are bottom 8 teams.

I won't bag the team for that effort. Shame Tom made that mistake. Feel bad for him. It did cost us.
But to lose to team four in the second half of golden point is not a bad effort.
As for Gus Gould and the rave on about the disallowed try? He clearly pushed Cherry in the back. How did they not see that?

We just don't know how to win. Compare that effort with how Cam Smith wrapped up the game the other week. Slotted a penalty goal from over 40 mtrs out and calmly potted a field goal from dummy half.
