In an earlier post Ryan nominated the 17 forwards who would be in our top 30 roster. That leaves 13 backs:
Tom Turbo, Suli, Tafua, Parker, Kelly, Walker, Funa, Elgey, Croker, Hodkinson, DCE.
Just two positions to fill.
Haven't we signed Garlic Sandwich to fill these spots already?
Aren't we now complete?
If so, it means that Anderson won't be with us, and that we won't be getting any more wingers.

Unless Anderson takes the place of Suli, Parker or Funa.

If we assume that the 30 player roster will be split 15 forwards/15 backs it does mean, allowing for Anderson, that we have a space for one more back, presumably a winger.

Ryan seems to be on the outer with the Penns at present, so maybe the yarts won’t be taken up by the new coach? For that reason I’d say the roster is anyone’s guess.

Apparently we have signed 2 hookers from Gladstone.
Hopefully the money that they have previously received falls outside the salary cap.

Can't remember if it was the cowboys.

It's a shame as he can catch and run and makes an impact.

I think we need speedy wingers unlike our current mob with taufua and suli

Well we started this year with one in Api

But yes I agree, one of your halves would ideally be able to slot in a hooker.

What I listed is just a rough template, obviously halves that can play hooker, 5/8s that can play fullback, 2nd rowers that can slot in at centre etc etc help balance the squad

We won't be paying Mr Plod's contract which will save us more than $330,000. He was part of our 30 and we remained under the Cap.

Im concerned over the media bs about him leaving, is he still on contract or did we fck this up 2 and not offer him a long term deal while he played his heart out all yr....seriously someone needs to be accountable if we lose this man mountain.
