Who will win the comp

We locked in our top 8 tips way back when, and probably most of us had Manly in, I sure did. Bugger
But finals will start soon, the 8 is all but settled. For those who even care, who wins it?
Chooks at 20-1 not the worst bet.
Raiders currently 2nd faves behind Storm, I think they might pinch it. They are in the box seat, would be good to see Kaeo win and also for Manly to have a new premiership winning halfback next year.

****ing boring this **** & bet I’m right with the “ we are just like Superleague only the richest 4 clubs will ever win “ scenario.

To be completely honest I pretty much don’t give a **** anymore , I hardly watch a non Manly game these days , hate the 6 agains , hate the rigged nature of the games.

For example you just knew the Roosters were going to win last night , and the Bulldogs on Friday , it’s a stitch up and the NRL just rides it home as they want the favourites , the broadcasters delights , to win and teams like , the Tigers , the Wahs , the Knights , really most in the bottom 9 are pretty much meaningless.

Oh sure , occasionally a non favourite team will click ( Raiders) and give it a well earned crack ( and may even win ) but I’d almost bet the house on it , in 20 years , 80% of the wins will come from 4 clubs.

It’s not a competition any more , it’s a huge money making business pretty much run by the broadcasters & betting companies.

We the fans , are just pawns.

I am going to say that any team that has been beaten by Manly in any game of rugby league this season simply cannot be good enough to win the comp. So that knocks out the Raiders, Storm, Broncos and Panthers. We'll see about the Warriors next week.

That would leave the Dogs, Sharks and Roosters as potential winners.

But really, as long as it's not the Storm or the Roosters, I don't care.

I mean, we beat the Storm. The Roosters thumped them last night. They are beatable. And punchable, almost to a man.

I will stand by my methodology: if you are not capable of beating Manly every time you play them, you are not capable of winning the grand final. Manly suck. If they beat you, you suck more. Ergo, you ain't winning it this year.

I hope so , no fan of Ricky but they’ve been on a great ride this year.

But you just know it, they’ll get to the GF with the Drizzle & the bunker clowns will **** them over.

Great coach? Ricky must have mellowed but he's been doing this so long I suppose that's possible. So for this group, this year, I can't knock him at all, well done.

But main thing is they are just such a well balanced side. Really remind me in a way of Manly 2011 for that reason. I think they haven't been knocked about too much by injuries this year and fingers crossed (for them) it stays that way.

Ditto mate……I have a soft spot for Ricky to be honest. Whines but gives as much as he takes. Wish he’d rub off on Siebs 🤭.
