the 13th of May 2021 thats nearly a year away ,my god WTF ?.
He has already had 2 or 3 mentions ,that smacks of delaying tactics and Lawyerly milking of the system and clients!
Do we know if the "prosecution" has shown his lawyer the alleged video evidence of the alleged incident and produced the knife with Manase's fingerprints on it ? .Talk about dragging it out the season 2021 will be 2 months old before he has had his day in court .The wheels of justice grind slowly ,what an understatement .Thats a hideous amount of wasted time when there are premierships to run and won
The Law truly is an ass ,as they say .

If this is found to be true it will be interesting to see what Dessie does, will he sign Levi on a further 1 year? Was clearly planning on having Fainu as the regular 80 minute hooker.

... and it's only @globaleagle 's left nut ..... not like he is using it for anything ...

Two members of rival Sydney gangs have learned their fate in court over their roles in a violent brawl which left two men stabbed and another hit by a car at a Mt Druitt pub last year.
Mal Seve, 22, and Rekindle Tautalaga, 23, were sentenced in Parramatta District Court today, both pleading guilty to affray and participating in a criminal group over the wild melee at the Mt Druitt Village Hotel on night of July 10, 2019.
CCTV footage showed up to 20 young men from the notorious warring brotherhoods, Greater West or OneFour, and Inner West, confront each other, speaking a brawl, which saw some members use knives, golf clubs and pool cues as weapons.

Two brothers from the Inner West gang suffered serious stab wounds, while OneFour rapper and Greater West member Salec Sua, 27, also known as Lekks, was hit by a car driven by his own gang associate.
The court heard that earlier that evening, a member of the Inner West gang was confronted by Tautalaga and other Greater West members at Guildford station, with one of the Inner West members being chased down the street.
This incident is believed to have sparked the fight, with a convoy of up to six cars, driven by Inner West members, including Seve, descending on the Mt Druitt pub, where members of Greater West were watching the State of Origin.

Footage showed members of the Greater West gang wait at the front of the premises, ready to brawl with the Inner West gang.
At 11.30pm, police were called to the scene following reports of men fighting with weapons in the carpark, causing onlookers to flee to safety inside the hotel.
Tautalaga pleaded guilty to an additional charge of larceny and entering enclosed lands after he jumped a locked gate to re-enter the hotel and steal three pool cues. It is not known if he used the cues in the fight.

The Crown prosecutor said while the Inner West gang came to the pub seeking out a fight, the Greater West gang waited in the bushes for their arrival and “ambushed” them.

The court heard Seve has been a promising football player, with his life spiralling out of control when his rugby league contract was torn up due to previous affray convictions.
“There is no evidence he was armed with a weapon … his role was a lot less than some of the other combatants,” his defence said.
“He made an ill-judged decision in willingly engaging in the fight when the opposition turned up.”
Defence solicitor Elias Tabchouri said Tautalaga had been a respected youth leader at the Hillsong church before he became caught up with the drug ice, the OneFour rap group and associated Greater West gang.
Mr Tabchouri said Tautalaga’s exact role in the brawl was not clear and bordered on self-defence.

“He doesn’t appear in any of the footage to show any conduct attributable to him,” he said.
“The level of his participation, we don’t know what that is.
“We aren’t the proactive party in this … it is very reactive.”
He said Tautalaga was no longer associated with OneFour.
The court heard Tautalaga’s time spent in jail on remand prior to being granted bail enabled him to get clean and reconnect with his spirituality.
In sentencing, Judge Stephen Hanley cited Seve’s “unenviable criminal record”, stating he was on the verge of becoming a “threat to the community”.

With his partner and two young children present in court, he was jailed for two years, with a non-parole period of 12 months.
Tautalaga was ordered to enter into a Community Corrections Order for two years, on the condition that he not associate with the Greater West gang or drink alcohol.
Sua, who is currently serving jail time for another gang brawl at Rooty Hill’s Carousel Inn Hotel in 2018, will be sentenced in August.
Co-accused Ronald Nikua will also be sentenced later this year, while another man, Hama Mapapalangi, is expected to stand trial next year.
The village hotel..great food there. Use to go every Friday night

I take it the club is being financially compensated for Fainu by the NRL's 'stand down' policy, even though he has a shoulder injury that would be ruling him out of playing anyway.
Am I correct in this assumption?
