So if the points are the same why wouldn't you rather get them against the better side that we are gonna have to beat to get to the premiership?
Same question reversed, why would you prefer to lose to bottom sides that you should beat.
Would show very poor attitude and team dynamics and you would still be in the same position on the ladder

If your constantly losing against teams below you, your not going to be fighting for the premiership in any case.

Yeah it would suck to lose to cellar dwellers but showing you can beat the big boys is more important if you want to raise the trophy in October.

But losing to the teams below you will halt your chances of raising the trophy.
We came up one game short last year by beating the teams we were meant to, the Storm came up one game short also...get to the semis and it's game on.
Points are the same either way. We would get more confidence from beating Penrith/Storm in the regular season. Not a deal breaker but with all things being equal beating good sides is preferable to beating **** sides.

I understand generally beating better teams from a fan point of view.
Reality is you only have to beat the "big boys" once or twice come final time to lift the trophy, you have to beat all the pther frackers to get there.

Case in point lol@parra bean beating the big boys during the early season for 36 years
But haven't lifted the trophy or won the won that counts in that time.

I would rather best panthers or storm once in the GF than regulary through the season and Beat all the others.

Parramatta have axed forward Nathan Brown for Saturday's clash with the Roosters, with the Eels also recently informing the lock forward that he doesn't have a long-term future at the club. Just wondering if we should make a play for him. We should have tried a swap with Davey
I would like an even swap for Davey, unfortunately Brown's on double Davey's money
