The NRL has become the laughing stock of sporting administrators. The favoritism given to clubs with Salary Cap sombreros and huge corporate backing is an embarrassment and an insult to one's intelligence. I nearly died of laughter when Robinson announced the other day he was glad we had the salary cap to keep the competition even. Pinch me quick I'm in the twilight zone! (for those older enough to remember that show). The treatment Parramatta will get from the NRL for a second episode of cheating in two years will be minuscule compared to what Greenburg has done to the Sea Eagles name and reputation. They completely destroyed the 2018 season for us, effectively kept us out of the market for big signings for 2019 and still won't publish the decision of the appeal. What a disgrace!

Ryan is right, we lost Lane due to a big money offer by Parra, who could offer heaps because of their cheating.

Todd came out and called Manly cheats and we paid exactly what we said, all signed off by the nrl.

If true, Parra has, once again, submitted their payment forms to the nrl, while doing underhanded dodgy rent and electricity deals.

Zero points next year, contracts signed this year torn up, no new signings for next year, board totally replaced with corporate bannings for those involved, and a 15 million dollar fine.

Indefensible actions.

Aren’t we only talking about $60-75k over (4-5 players at roughly 15k each) - nothing earth shattering. The only reason they might get a big penalty is that it is off the back of their previous cheating scandal.

Very stupid none the less (more so for the NRL for not picking up the declared values as well under).

I still can't fathom how the cowboys failed this year. I guess having a really strong roster doesn't always mean you'll get results. Maybe cheating the cap is a waste of time.

The thing I love though is a gov agency is involved. If they were stupid enough to get the leagues club involved then that’s a whole different kettle of fish. The investigation is not under the nrl’s jurisdiction. It won’t go away unless they’ve actually not done anything

Here's a legitimate question, since there's males and females, and males becoming females and females becoming males, and males not becoming female but "identifying" as female, and females not becoming males but "identifying" as male.. Etc etc I filled a form in today asking if I "identify" as aboriginal or Torres straight islander... When did that become a thing? Can anyone from any background now "identify" as a nationality??
Not that I have anything against any one of those ppl, everyone can live how they like I think, but had never seen that on a legal doco before
