Some shockers today. Suli worst game I have seen him play cold drops and lazy reads in defence

Putting things in perspective ...
With the troops that we had out we were expected to get flogged
We got flogged in the penalty count
We got flogged by lady luck
We even flogged our selves with some silly errors at times
But to stay competitive through out the game and unlucky to lose by 2 points shows this was another resilient effort that was not rewarded

Lot of guts in that 2nd half. Execution was again pathetic but the effort was hard to fault. Mostly misguided effort but still was very brave. Man that hurts

Turning point was elliott injury and Garrick being put to fullback (letting in two soft tries)

Other turning point was Cust injury and not persisting with Jake @ prop. He needed to be benched so our forwards could be fresh and same as our attacking movements

second week in a row that the game was lost in the minute before half time.

The 2nd halves would have panned out exactly the same so we would have won both games. Gotta finish the halves better.

This is how it’s been for 6 out of the past 8 weeks. Plenty of effort but due to injuries and dumb errors, can’t get the win. If Jake doesn’t throw a behind the back, no look pass to Pierce, we give ourselves a shot at a repeat set.

Mental errors are usually a consequence of 3 things; fatigue, poor coaching or stupidity. I don’t know what the season stats would be but we’d have to be at the top for errors. Another weekend, another Manly loss.

The team would have won well without Elliots injury.....and Cust wasn't the same after his knock. 2 x bad errors from suli & garrick, and that's the ball game. Proud of the boys though. Copping it deluxe from my Knights mates.

Look I agree, they've got a lot of heart but it's obvious they lack the talent to be consistent first graders. On the flip side, Funa is really impressing and getting better the more he plays.

2020 is done, it was the second Fainu decided to turn into Mr Stabby but I think there are some promising signs for next year.

Des really needs to utilise Jake better too, the game has changed and hopefully some classic late night Hasler video sessions yield some dividends moving forward

This year has been a disappointment, there's no sugar coating it but I seriously think we're moving in the right direction. DCE needs to have a good hard look at himself, despite what everyone says if he's not willing to take a paycut moving forward I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of cutting him and paying some freight if we can find a solid half with a strong kicking game - he's undoubtedly lost his Midas touch, we're a second rower and a strike backline player off the pace.

With all these injuries imagine if Ferris was still our fitness guy. He was blamed for our lack of fitness and every injury in his time.
I wonder why the new guy gets a pass?

Injuries again to important players, referee decisions in favour of the Knights hence the lopsided penalty count, sill mistakes I agree, playing a full strength Knights in Newcastle & we lose by 2 points? Again WTF people expect is beyond me! With AFB & Marty we would have carved them up!
