Johns was signed to cover for DCE during Origin, I don't think anyone expected he'd play as much NRL as he has so far this year. But it's all been to fill in at 5/8, and once off the bench.
His only game for us at half was the trial v Chooks, which we won. (Weekes was fullback, Schu 5/8 and Gordie hooker that day)

Yep he certainly could - Although just as likely to go off early with a head knock. The bloke has played 6 games this season and come off for a HIA in 3 of those. Decent strike rate.
