Jake Arthur was signed specifically, to act as cover for DCE. I realise he’s only joined this week but he’s probably got more first grade experience than Cooper. Combine that with how Copper played the last time we played them and I think Jake needs to be at least on the bench, if not the starting side. I can’t see the value of Tui on the bench either?
Here’s hoping, Seibold replaces Cooper with Jake, and Tui with Gordon. Then move Croker from #9 to #13 after about 25mins and bring on Gordon.
This game is winnable IF we get the 17 right.

Really going to be up to some of the younger players to step into leadership roles against the Knights. Paseka and Schuster could be the keys, along with blokes like Reuben and Toff Sipley. Be interesting to see how they go.

Seibold implied Arthur won't be playing in the halves, but maybe in the middle (Dylan Walker type role). We'll soon learn who's been left out of the 17. If Lawton is unfit, I assume Arthur would be substitute dummy half.
