Yes he did play very well but he had a shocker start. Let in 2 very soft tries early on. He's gotta start much better than that. A work in progress and he will get much better. We have some great talent coming through but they need guys like Marty and Josh showing them the way.

Totally agree, Josh is such a big out for us, we will need Marty next week, it’s going to be a big ask for these young lads to back up week in week out while Josh is out and I actually rate the Donkeys pack, regardless of their position on the ladder, their forwards have not let them down, their early season halves combos have let them down, they have improved heaps without Deardon and Croft over the last couple of weeks and we will have to turn up and play better than today or they will kick us in the hole.

Kelpie locked in even when Aloiai and Marty are back. How nice it would be to have him start, with Paseka and Marty off the bench. Fingers crossed that how it will be come September.

Our best player behind Tom today. Loved his effort and his tackles on the ball carrier were immense. Turns out playing him in the middle where he belongs rather than the edge works out wonders, who would’ve thought

If Turbo wasnt a freak of nature this bloke would have got the 3 points in any other team.

He has that leadership trait that the great props like JWH have, when something needs to happen they step up and take the game front on.
