That sounds pretty feasible E4L, but I'd go the whole hog and rest DCE for the Drags game. Let's give Cherry time to freshen up and organise for his last game in Manly colours.

I always thought form was what warranted selection but that has not been the case in respect of DCE. Since the Melbourne game he has been very ordinary and ineffective. If DCE's form or Brook's form does not improve dramatically against the Dolphins then Walsh should come in at number 7 and the best of the present two should play 6. I expect Penn doesn't want to be paying DCE big bucks to play NSW cup. However there there has not been appropriate return for match payments the last few weeks.

I’m keen to see young Walsh have a crack , they won’t drop the Chaser , he’ll simply be on the bench and given the last 20 minutes of the game and that’s entirely how it should be.

So what, they all bag us for anything and everything so why not give them some fuel for the fire. Can’t be anymore painful than watching the less than drab performances we are having to endure right now

If we lose this week, which seems very likely, then the finals go from being a mathematical possibility to pure impossibility. At that point I hope Siebold pivots completely to giving younger guys experience. We are already safe from the spoon, so all that is left is to do things that will be helpful for 2026.

Put him on the bench this week. Better having him play 10 minutes at the end of the game than Schoupp doing the same thing, then he can debut at home and be apart of $CE's 350th. Would play Laiafi over either Jazz or Sipley too given they are both leaving. Every game they can get to finish the year would only help their development and give added experience going forward.

Won't happen though because Seibold is either deluded enough to think we are still a shot at making finals or trying to show we are still a chance. Need to win all 3 games left (unlikely) and hope the Roosters lose all 3 (even more unlikely given they have Parra & Souths to come). Not like dad's army have been helping us win games anyway, in fact by not giving the young guys a chance Seibold is just showing he doesn't care for next year. Just ****ing rip the bandaid off and make the changes.

I agree but my understanding of the achilles is that after the op it’s stronger than ever. So extremely low risk to do it again.

I'm more worried he comes back and does a whole different injury all together... this season has shown how valuable he is and i can't understand why we would risk him
