Jake T.

Personally, I can understand why. At the time of these re-signings, they certainly looked like good deals. It hasn’t delivered a premiership but they’re hard to come by. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If we were sitting here without a premiership, having let Tom, Jake and Daly go to retain others, we’d be lamenting the club’s inability to hang onto the right marquee players.
Not me mate I couldn’t care less what they do for other clubs when they leave and if they were to win good on them my concern is seeing manly become a solid balanced consistent team

If Hass is fit, he takes one spot, Lenui gets another almost guaranteed, Yeo will be 13, think Barnett will be lucky to make the side this year, if his form is good enough the bench is an option, Stefphano and Loireo will be in the mix, would think Lindsay Smith will be a walk up, possible starter with Hass, Liam Henry would be my smokey, pending his comeback, really hard to see how Jake gets a run this year, I guess form, injuries and availability will be the big one, but there’s some solid competition for the blues front row this year, then there’s Thompson, form could dictate, Paseka, May and others, Laurie has plenty of options up front.
I'd have Hudson Young over Spencer

Hudson’s not a middle and we were throwing the ruler over the potential middles, but I’d say his probably in the mix for a spot in the side this year, providing we’re talking about the state side, be it as a starting edge or from the bench, a lot would depend on Crighton’s form over the next few weeks, maybe even Martin’s not a guarantee this year, however I think he’ll definitely be one edge, so maybe, maybe not with Hudson. Daley’s selections will be interesting, but I’m almost certain they won’t include Jake.

Let's face it; there are very few "consistent" teams... consistently bad, perhaps.
Melbourne has been consistently good almost since its inception. Penrith, of course, over the past five years but it has been raided to such an extent that it is now struggling.
And that's about it.
Even Easts, who buy success, have had lean seasons.
This year there are 15 teams that are inconsistent, and it's too early to tell with Canterbury.
