What does COMPLETE mean ?
having all the necessary or appropriate attributes

I believe if you dont use the Benchmark when you rate you are totally missing the the mark of Greatness

Hehe true enough!
But Crokes has 4 or 5 years of putting his body on the line for Manly teammates week in week out, plus just being a decent person, so in the end that counts for something. (Not indefinitely though)

One thing that does effect Croker's dummy half options is our slow play the ball, we hardly win the ruck which then makes dummy half look cumbersome.... yes I know Crokes is, but could be why defence picks him off better than we do the opposition dummyhalf, because they are getting quicker play the balls.

I remember Api getting canned for the same, then went to the Riff and boom.....

I’m thinking Simpkin will feature more in first grade in season 2025 after a solid pre-season at Narrabeen.

I really hope Spoony gives Simpkin enough game time to sink or swim against the Cows and games in general in 2025.

In the matches he played last year he was easily the best at quick ball distribution, quick in the ruck and good defence.

I would have liked him to start and have that confidence to play to his strengths with him having a few runs to keep the defensive team in two minds.

I agree. I think we need to back him. I have a feeling he might get an hour of game time and essentially be our main 9...he's only on the bench to allow Jazz to absorb the early intensity. I hope so anyway...

I reckon Simpkin will be the main dummy half and Tevaga will slot into multiple positions in 25
Tevaga adds some intensity, but can't see him as a genuine 9, but happy to see him have a Super game on Saturday

Jazz's diversity then becomes a bonus on the bench.

I can see Seibs letting Simpkins run out the remaining 60.

And bring back a fresh Jazz as a fresh ball of energy that gets rotated through the middle for his 2nd stint.

It's almost like having an extra forward sitting on the bench.
