This is a really smart signing from Manly. The kid can really play but getting him from a struggling club means he is relatively cheap. We don’t need a marquee 9. We’ve got star power in our squad. We just need good service and stout defence. Simpkin gives us both.

I think they will either focus Humphrey's back torwards the halves or not re-sign him seasons end.

If I was a betting man I may go not re-signing.

You know Humphrey's and Simpkin are both 22. Difference is Simpkin has played QLD under 16s, QLD under 18s, played in the same Prime Ministers 13 team that DCE did in 2022 and has 42 NRL games...

So true there are not that many managers and even less when you consider over 80% are represented by 4 companies.. so pretty sure logic would tell you the majority of our players are represented by the 4.. the Media need a story and sensationalise it and the "gimps" bite .. hook , line and sinker. Hahaha
