WARWICK Bulmer has been rubbing shoulders with the Sea Eagles for so long he may as well bleed maroon and white.
Tomorrow the Beacon Hill resident will sit in the dugout at Allianz Stadium and live and breathe every play as if he were in the team.

Mr Bulmer's association with the club stretches back to 1968, when he moved to the peninsula from Clovelly.

The life member of the Manly Warringah District Junior Rugby League, Beacon Hill Bears and the Sea Eagles has been a father figure for countless players and is renowned for singing the team victory song in the sheds with gusto.

Mr Bulmer is a volunteer, happy to go above and beyond to help out whenever needed. "I feel very fortunate to be in the inner circle - they are all great people working towards a common goal, which I think is fantastic," he said.

Mr Bulmer, 73, was recently awarded the Steve Menzies Medal for his work behind the scenes and is one of only two non-players in club history to take home the Doug Daley Clubman of the Year award.

Gus should create a new role in his coaching staff and give Trent a job next season . The Panthers have all ready filled the head coach and assistant coach positions but they dont have a "MATE" role model position for the players . Trent perfectly fits the role .

Des has been back 2 weeks and he seems not the type to socialise with the players which sounds fine.
Mates make the worst bosses as there are no real boundaries.

Can't see Trent getting a head coaching role anytime soon so there is little chance of him poaching any of our players.
