I reckon comparing Jake's and Cotrics are not fair. Cotrics looked more like he drove him to the ground. Jake's was not in that class.

I thought if anyone would have been dirty, I thought Sticky would be but no ,he defended Jake and said the refs got it right with Jake and wrong with Cotric, and I agree. Cotric shouldn't have been sent off, sin bin maybe but not sent off.

I’ve got no doubt the fact it was Jake, who is known as a clean player and who had just worked his arse off for 80-plus minutes, played some part in the MRC realising it was simply an accident.
Still I was surprised, thought he’d be gone for a week or 2.

The match review committee is just that "a committee" They are very thorough in every charge they examine. How do I know this??? Well you guessed it my bro is part of the MRC... They ALL review and discuss each tackle and compare with other charges for similar tackles over the past couple years. Everything is taken into consideration when determining a grading. To an UNTRAINED EYE tackles that look very similar actually have very different aspects which is what leads to the difference in grading. Kent and others need to sit in the bunker and see the very diligent process that the follow for every grading before jumping around like a goose!!!

There is a lot of bad inconsistency going on. I do believe that Jake should have done at least a week on the sidelines, end of the day it was a horror tackle, not in the Cotric league but bad enough. You see the Canberra player got 5 weeks for a gouge and then that cretin McGuire gets slapped on the wrist with a wet lettuce!! bloody farce!
