Jake's tackle wasn't actually that bad. He did not drive him to the ground and when he realised that he was going beyond vertical you can see Jake's hand that was holding the leg relax and let go. Still lucky considering the inconsistencies of late.

Cotric’s tackle was way worse than Jake’s so common sense prevails. Isaac Luke has been pretty hard done by.

Pangai Jnr should go buy a lotto ticket, if that was careless then AFB shouldn’t even have been charged. Pangai’s was reckless at best but could easily have been charged as intentional

The problem is many of the ball carriers in tackles these days are trying to dive to the ground. No wonder they end up going head first towards the ground.

I was actually hoping he would get 1 week. I suspect the team will be down a bit next week after that win last night and playing at that intensity 90 minutes. It’s always hard to back up with another win after a performance like that. Also, Jake has had a massive workload this season and a week off might have freshened him up a bit, especially if it’s another gruelling game or one we lose.

My exact way of thinking.... He would now be stacked with carry over points and if he does anything in a tackle that is even careless, we could have him sitting out 2 or 3 finals matches....SEASON GONE!

Im pretty sure Des will be all over this and don't be surprised if he attempts to fight the charge to cope a week and clear the points. If thats how it works I'm pretty sure manly will be thinking about it.
