I am sure it's Cartwrong but you gave me a glimmer of hope with the "old smoke screen" theory and I'm gonna cling to that small glimmer of hope until he is announced and then once Cartwrong is announced I'll cry like a baby for a week ....... him as coach is the worst news we could have apart from something else.

Why are we expecting the club to become super professional in the next 2-4 weeks? They haven’t made one positive statement since Gorman came on board. The ameuteurish approach will continue. Most likely scenario is Cartwright as coach, some fringe signings, a recruitment manager/director of football. We may lose 1/2 of Taupau and Walker and we may replace them with an established first grader. I have no inside info but based on past 12 months this has to be the most likely scenario.

You could be, with absolutely no inside knowledge, 100% right!!

Hopefully we'll be 'flying under the radar' with Des as coach, 2V as Salary Cap and Football Manager, and hopefully Lyall will get through the 141 resumes for a recruitment manager and appoint Crusher.

TIGERS: Keep hearing there will be changes to the coaching department at the Wests Tigers for 2019 and some player movements may occur. The name that keeps on getting mentioned is Trent Merrin from the Penrith Panthers because there is talk a big name player will leave the Panthers at the end of this season.

This could mean Manly are trying to swap Barrett for Cleary !!

It's been thrown around for a while and it's not something I'd get my hopes up about.
I think the big name player would be Maloney.
But with some of the things people like @Mark from Brisbane are hearing maybe there's a wee chance of Cleary.
I don't get my hopes too high about anything at all with the club lately.

Apparently with the Peachey backflip issue a deal was speculated that Maloney would go to the GC instead of Peachey. Gould declared today that Maloney 'aint going anywhere' (not surprising lol).

Meanwhile, looking back at the last communication from Penn:
“We are looking everywhere (for a new coach). We have to give our members and fans certainty. We have to resolve it in the next couple of weeks, we want certainty over our coaching structure in the next two to three weeks. We have to get on with it.”
Umm, this interview was just over 3 weeks ago Mr Penn, so what's happening? We the fans/members continue to wait with bated breath

Yep only one cancer here,it's not the coach,not numerous Gm's ,it's not Tooves, not Hasler ,not Quantum,not Max Delmege,Not Donny S, not the council,not Kasperski,not Coco joy ,not the Football Club,the list goes on .Guarantee there is at least another half dozen I missed.
Just take a minute and remember all the sh1TFighting ,and bad publicity from everyone mentioned here.Poor Penn Family ,all the above were unable to work with them and must of been picking on them.
