Going to make an outstanding 2nd rower ....
1. TedescoWhether he be rocks or diamonds, you’ll see how much we miss him as an attacking option on Thursday night.
That has to be the worst bit of dribble i have read on here.Tommy needs a good halfback giving him opportunities like green last year. Tommy was the best fb last year and green played a massive part. Those plays back through the middle were sublime bit we dont have the players (dce) to do it. Tommy is getting in the game best he can with his runs from dummy half and his raids out to the left but we dont have any set plays anymore. Dce is a myth im sorry. Why doesn't he get repeat sets anymore or throw the cut out pass like ash Taylor did for his winger? I dont know what happened to him but he was one of the best halfs easy now hes one of the worst. We should of won that game he should of closed it out but hes not good enough. Trent will help but i dont expect too much from him infact last night he did better than i thought he ever would. That short side raid when we should of scored with frank the idiot not passing was great and something dce doent do anymore. Or when he does its just pathetic. Hes a head less chook out there. Tommy isnt the problem. If he had a good half back like last year the kid would be playing origin at fb. Hes a machine but hes still learning and he does make mistakes he needs guidance
To answer the question, more rock than diamond for sure.
Decision making is awful.
I can't believe anyone seriously thinks he is ready for origin.
Compared in to Brett in 2006 when he was 21. Chalk and cheese. As a fullback this bloke wouldn’t tie Snakes boot laces. He is 21! For f#cksake! Everyone wants him to be slater or stewart its ridiculous. Best player we have along with his brother and with both about to be in origin I don't see how he is a rocks and diamonds player as Fitler won't pick those players. And lets stop the calls of moving him to centre as its not happening because you don't move the best attacking fullback in the game. And to those doubting his communication, go to a game and watch and listen. I went and watched the Raiders game last night and Tom was very vocal, in contrast Jack Wighton was not.

He’s got talent and tries very hard but under pressure he falls to pieces. He cost us the game last night as his mistake after half time cost us the roosters game.
He was on the wing after a switch with wollman defensively on 5th tackles due to wolfmans blunder after blunder if I remember correctlyWhere was Snake in the 2013 Grand Final for the Jennings try that sealed the game?
He was average in the 2007 Grand Final as well, all he had to do was leap to catch that bomb and he wouldn’t have been ko’d.
Can’t remember him doing much in the 2012 Prelim Final in Melbourne either.
Then there was that game against the Broncos in 2005 when he dropped about 15 bombs.

2. Cotric
5. Addo-Carr
We'll have Tom Thursday night (which I'd rather!)
Yep every player, former player, expert and legend of the game rates him as an absolute gun player and I'd say they have more knowledge and understanding then some whinging fans because he is not perfection. Hell most rate him at the best fullback in the game at the moment, up there with Ponga. Sick of listening to "well when stewart was this and that he was the best"! Tom is his own player and a bloody good one. The spotlight is always on his small errors but in reality they arent that bad when he is going to play origin. Whingers just looking for a player to blame.Every expert in the game, Phil Gould, Brandy Alexander for example vs American Eagle. Sorry buddy, but you’re probably overrating your ability to judge a player.
Hey mate go easy, you can’t be saying that around here. All the experts will shoot you down and tell you he’s the greatest fullback of all time and you know nothing...Latrell Mitchell struggled at fullback and was eventually moved to centre where, without the burden of fullback positional play (especially in defence), he is now one of the best in the game. This should be an option for TT.
Tom is a good fullback but still misses the crucial plays in defence in tight games. His positional play is also questionable in defence. I don't remember these being concerns for Brett Stewart at the same age.
Wow you should really lay of that crack pipe my man.Where was Snake in the 2013 Grand Final for the Jennings try that sealed the game?

I watched the game again and it showed two glaring problems with Turbo's game.I don't think Tom's a rocks and diamonds - he's only 21 and still learning. You could say all players are rocks and diamonds as nobody's perfect every week.
The problem with Tom imo is he can buckle under pressure, which is a trait not suited to origin. He should be in origin when he's a bit more experienced, but it sounds like he's going to be picked anyway.
A bad experience in one or two SOO games, could be the end of him as a NSW rep player, at least for a couple of years.
And he has it in him to produce a shocker or two.
I don’t think he is quite ready.
The Sliding Doors Syndrome. On the flip side, a blinder could see his entire season go to another level.
