Well, tis been 8 years since the last comp (India winners).

A ripper of a game today.

Eng v Aust

Eng bat first and score 351.

Aust in reply won! 5-356 with 2 overs to spare.

The hero this game was Inglis with Carey plus Maxwell giving good support.

A few records tumbled in this game as you could imagine.

India take care of Pakistan fairly easily.

Kohli hits a 4 to bring up his hundred and win the game by 6 wickets. (target 242)

NZ account easily for Bangladesh (it seems).

IN a few hours it's Australia v Sth Africa.

"We might need to make 400 if we bat first," Alex Carey told a press conference in Rawalpindi on Monday, the day before Australia's Champions Trophy match against South Africa.

No result!

Rain has had the last say and the match has been called off. It rained since morning and it never really stopped to give the groundstaff any chance. With the cut-off time being 7:32 pm, there was no way this ground could have been readied for a 20-over contest.

Both teams share 1 point each and it means that tomorrow's encounter between England and Afghanistan has turned into a virtual knockout with the loser becoming the third team to be eliminated.

(so cricbuzz says)

Hope the Aussies beat the Indians, the Indians have had an easy ticket to winning this tournament.

India def Aust.

At one stage it was a run a ball for India (40 off 40...)

But the aussie bowlers seemed to bowl 4 good, 2 bad each over and a few sixes later. Bingo bango bongo...Indian win.

Cooper Connolly copping more than anyone ever has on here.

A few names I've never heard of.

Saw he took a wicket with the best run rate against...but....

If he is a 'batting' allrounder - some runs are needed. Only young though.

wow NZ 6-362

and Sth Africa 5-190 off 33 overs

Are they playing on a postage stamp??

callin' it early.

NZ to beat SA

And by early I mean a whole 5 overs early...)

Req RR 20+

Well it was an India v New Zealand final.

The team that didn't have to travel, played all their games at the same venue, stayed in the one hotel, and played on pitches that suited them won.

"Well done" India
