I like that he is changing direction, using footwork and a change of speed rather than simply running straight into the defensive line.

Apart from his one drop ball, had another really strong game. He’s a fantastic player.

It’s interesting, pre this season, I hadn’t seen what others had in Koula (well apart speed) but geez it looks like he has worked incredibly hard in the off season, fast, tough and elusive. We need to keep him.

We really aren’t playing much left side at the moment, Brooks/Kolua/Hoppa not getting a lot of possession to show there skills. Like to see Brooks to kick a bit more in the last to add a left side element.

A kick is a good idea but I think we are better going left, regardless. Tom is definitely more effective from right to left and Brooks is better at engaging defenders at the line than DCE, who likes to play a bit flatter and earlier to Olakau’atu.

Agree... He continued his great form from the semi's last season, and the game he played today by popping up on both sides was almost SOO Turboesque. I've said before he'd make a better FB than Hoppa. He has speed, power and the skill. Been our best player by far.

Biggest positive of the season has been Koula turning into the player we always hoped he could be. He's been great. Long may it continue.
