Here's a new one: Widdop to Manly in 2016

Doubt it'll happen, but I'd take Widdop in a heartbeat. Really good player.

 

We'll he hasn't p$$sed in his own mouth or beaten his wife up so that's a start.

 

I think I heard on 2SM yesterday that St George were about to lose another high profile player

 

This was my idea, posted it last week.
Widdop is totally wasted at the Drags, he can kick and has Bellyache training.

Worth a shot as he has the experience we badly need once the Million Dollar Babies walk.

 

Joe Kelly did say we were in the market for "International halves"...

 

Currently signed to 2017 on 550k a year. Would probably at least have to match that and pay for a release/compensation? Still good value IMO

 

Widdop is a Pom - maybe he is from Chelsea

 

Brisbane pulled off a huge coup re-signing Hunt for another 3 years on 400k! Now thats a bargain price - must not include Marquee payments?

 

Widdop would fit the bill nicely in my opinion.

He's solid and if we did sign him we would need a creative No7. Widdop at 6 Carney at 7 would be delicious.

 

Best half signing I have heard so far. Widdop is a quality half, played really well at Storm and is wasted at the dragoons.

Plus the way the dragoons are offloading their roster, seem that their happy to let players walk.

Give him foz 5/8 jumper.

 

Release Foz and sign Widdop today. Solves plenty of problems straight away.
And to be honest, I think that is what would be best for all families involved.

 

Luke can even translate for him so he can feel right at home on Brookvale Beach

 

Isaac John from the Panthers is pretty handy. Sitting behind Soward and Peter Wallace. Not sure of his contract status.
