Galvin

ApparentlyGalvin's family have a good relationship with the Squeels, so that could be the destination, playing alongside Moses.

I believe Mestrov believes that Joey Walsh and Onitoni Large are our future halves, and this is telling (below) that Galvin is probably not coming to Manly.

"It is understood that his management wanted clauses inserted into his contract that would allow Large to become a free agent on the open market if Lachlan Galvin signed a contract extension with the club." Ethan Lee Chalk, Zero Tackle

So, if the above is correct, we would probably lose Onitoni Large if Galvin signed with Manly, unless they envisage Galvin as a lock and can convince him of doing that, which I just can't see happening.

Parra is losing Brown and Galvin is a logical replacement.

Are you saying Large’s contract with manly has that clause, or his previous contract with the tigers? Surely it’s not his manly contract?

Definitely has taken the attention away from the D C E saga which can only be a good thing from a Many perspective ..
Just seems a bit odd all round with the Galvin circumstances , not as if the Tigers did not want him or money or opportunity were a problem there .
Shame that it may affect the Tiger's season ,and for their supporters but guess that a club and coach can only do so much to enable a side to get favorable results from their charges
Yep, I’m a bit unhappy, I’d had the Tigers as the Smokey for the 8 and a few dollars invested there, so yes, very annoyed at the situation.

One of the best defensive coaches we had was actually Brad Arthur, when Toov's was coaching in 2013. The team gave up an average of 15 points a game, second to only the Roosters, 14 points a game. And, we should have won the grand final!!!
Tooves went very close to winning a Grand final
The game could have gone either way
I can not bare to see replays of Manly losing
But from memory the Roosters made the most of their opportunities
Some teams get the close calls and are not capable of capitalizing and close the game
The Roosters did .

Brad Arthur was defensive coach but the Head coach overseas and Manages all football Operations
Credit to where credit is due To Tooves

The Doubles Standards Perspective point of view
In Penns Results Driven Business Philosophy
Tooves got shafted for making the Grand final
I wonder how long Seibold lasts ?

I must be getting old and grumpy but I thought we were all just Manly fans with opinions. There are no credentials on here just some that think they are smarter than everybody else that post disparaging and critical remarks about other posters not knowing their age, education or professional background. And those that have too much time on their hands and are grammar and spelling police. I am at times a disgruntled fan and for and the last 10 years there has been many reasons for that. Rumours are just rumours and most are just inaccurate and as soon as someone suggests their information is fact I immediately suspect the opposite but that does not mean they are a wrong about the rumour that has been spread or that they are clowns, simply that I doubt the rumour is reliable.
There are two people on here who have offered why they would have the kind of information they do and have always been pretty accurate when they've ventured a theory. They're the only two I ever believe, the rest is fan speculation, hence, a forum

Not sure what the rest of the stuff is that you're talking about. I may have missed something ... probably a great deal

Eels increase cap space?

The Parramatta Eels can confirm that Joe Ofahengaue has been granted an immediate release from his NRL playing contract to take up an opportunity elsewhere. Joe joined the Eels in 2023 and quickly became a respected and popular member of the playing group.

He’d be a handy pickup for us given our lean middle stocks.

Outside of the dumb Luai and Turuva social media posts I am quite jealous of the way the Tigers have handled the Galvin situation. Got out a media release early to control the narrative, and dropped him to NSW cup for another player that actually wants to be at the club.

This is exactly what we should’ve done with D$E but not only is he still out there putting in pathetic efforts every week, he is also the captain of the side. Oh and also he’s a 36 year old man while Galvin is just a kid getting misguided by his manager (who sends all his players to our club because of our dumb **** coach). Getting everything we deserve at the moment.
