Could only be one of those. Either way, if any of those left, I wouldn't be too disappointed in the scheme of life.

Matty Wright played half the season after Jorge's injury, and that was with Brad Parker breathing down his neck and he never looked like being dropped. That's a bit more than a handful of games.

I would say its either Hastings or Cullen, and its probably based on the fact that its more than likely we're getting Pearce. Fact is that if we do get Pearce, unless Brown is gone and the bench utility spot suddenly opens up then neither are likely to see much of first grade unless Cherry, Pearce or Api get injured.

I think it's Hastings.. He switched to manly in the hope to take over green when he retired.. Now that we are linked to Pearce his nemesis at the Rorters, and with so much competition for the same position, he's also going to go for a trip to Hawaii to think about his future.

You are correct. This 'scoop' could be attributed to every club every week of the season.
The standard of journalism is now at an all-time low because of social media. Why would a news organisation hire credible and expensive journalists when they can use all the rumours and nonsense floated on fan sites (others than ours, of course) and Facebook etc for free?
Did anyone notice that two weeks ago Cordner was 'reported' as saying that Pearce would stay at Easts. Yesterday he was 'reported' as stating that he always knew Pearce would leave.
